The informational is free and open to the community; anyone can attend. At the informational, you will learn about the details of the program, dates/times/locations, program particulars, and how to submit a successful application. The 7th Annual STAR Program offers high school students the opportunity to gain one-on-one experience with Ochsner physicians, research scientists, healthcare staff, and administrators while learning about educational development, team building, and career success skills.
The Southern Nursing Research Society Annual Conference provides an opportunity for SNRS members to report ongoing and completed research as well as theoretical,conceptual, and methodological projects to colleagues. The conference is located at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

Every year, Ochsner hosts Brownies and Junior Girl Scouts from numerous troops throughout the New Orleans Metro Area as part of its annual Brownies Science in Action! Day and Girl Scouts Science Discovery! Day, free programs that Ochsner offers in conjunction with Girl Scouts Louisiana East. The girls perform various experiments, led by Ochsner employee volunteers. At the end of the day, each Brownie earns her Science in Action Try-It and each Junior Girl Scout earns her Science Discovery patch.

This conference will provide updates on diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus, including recent advances in the treatment of diseases. It will focus on primary clinical applications of current and new advances. The conference will provide a high level of detail in the treatment of digestive diseases.
The overall mission of this conference is to provide clinicians updates on the latest practices in subspecialty areas, including cardiac, regional, OB, and pediatric anesthesia. The regional workshop will provide the novice with a better understanding of ultrasound-guided techniques, while allowing the more advanced regional anesthesiologist to broaden his or her scope of practice.
